Fascinating,full of imagination,from an illiterate child memorizing what she heard,to a Dr. of Christian Ed. By 15 she dropped out of school, ran away to Mexico. A teen mom suffering abuse & hunger.In 1972 she got a GED,BA in Spanish, earned an MA,in Bil. Ed. & Linguistics, became a principal. Worked for Colo. Dept. of Ed. An author, trainer, public speaker & world-wide advocate for literacy. Her motto: “Teaching Done Right, All Children Can Learn.”
